Mobile device with the Myzone App
Ensure that you are able to connect your MZ belt to your Myzone app on your device (smartphone/tablet)
You may use the Myzone app on either a smartphone or a tablet.
For better viewing experience, it is recommended to stream your device to your tv. This will enable you to view the heart rate tiles and instructor video on a bigger screen. You may also be able to hear the session audio via the tv.
If you are not streaming to a tv, do use a wireless (Bluetooth) headset to be able to hear the session audio clearly.
Please follow the below instructions on using the Myzone app to book the session, log into the class and also streaming your device to the tv.
From the main menu, select Book a Class then select Timetable.
Next, find the class and select Book, then click Book Now to secure your spot.
To manage bookings, navigate back to MZ-Book in the app and select My Classes. From here, you can view upcoming classes, favorites, rebook, or cancel bookings.
Five (5) minutes before the beginning of the class, put the belt on and launch the Myzone app on your mobile device.
A push notification will appear on the app prompting class participants to join. This opens the Workout section and automatically connects to the video stream.
If push notifications are disabled, open the Workout tab to view the live tile along with the Class ID. This automatically displays five (5) minutes before the class start time.
To join the video stream, click MZ-R icon which will automatically display the instructor and live-board on your mobile device.
Participants switch between their personal tile and the live-board by clicking the below icon.
Participants can choose on enable their camera by click on the below icon so the instructor can coach their technique. The Class participant can enable or disable their mobile camera to the instructor at anytime and video feedback is private and only between the class participant and the instructor.
Note: The instructor CANNOT HEAR the class participants when they are sharing their video.
If you have a compatible device, you can screen mirror the Myzone app to the big screen for an improved experience.
To begin you must enable screen mirroring on your TV. Please consult your product operation manual for instructions.
Using AirPlay to stream MZ-Remote from your device to your Apple TV or AirPlay 2 compatible smart TV.
Connect your iOS device to the same Wi-Fi network as your Apple TV or AirPlay 2 compatible smart TV.
Open Control Center by swiping down from the upper-right corner of the screen.
On iPhone 8 or earlier, swipe up from the bottom of the the screen to open the Control Center.
Tap Screen Mirroring.
Select your Apple TV or AirPlay 2 compatible smart TV from the list.
If an AirPlay passcode appears on your TV screen, enter the passcode on your iOS device.
Your TV uses your iOS device's screen orientation and aspect ratio. To fill your TV screen with the mirrored iOS device screen, change your TV's aspect ratio or zoom settings.
To stop mirroring your iOS device, open Control Center, tap Screen Mirroring, then tap Stop Mirroring, or press the Menu button on your Apple TV Remote.
This varies by phone model, but most have a shortcut for screen mirroring in your quick settings. The example below is from a Samsung Device. Please consult your phone operation manual for exact details.
Drag two fingers down from the top of the screen to reveal the Quick Settings menu.
Swipe left to show additional apps.
Select Smart View (your phone will then automatically start searching for devices to connect with).
Select Allow to connect with your chosen device.
Ensure that your mobile phone or tablet is on the same Wi-Fi network as your Chromecast device or smart TV.
Open the Google Home app.
Tap the device for which you want to cast your screen.
Tap Cast my screen > Cast screen.
To stop mirroring your device, open Google Home app again.
Tap your device > Stop mirroring.
